At other times, the result may be a positive life-changing result. Inside the reader will meet a girl who draws a paper piano on a tablet and later becomes a concert pianist, a serial killer who lures his victims through old-fashioned snail mail, a doctor who must chose between his career and marriage, and a woman who abandons her twin sons to save their lives. The topics range from tragedy, to romance, self-discovery to mental illness, to suicide, and acceptance. The reader will find a cast of characters with a range of human emotions. Some will sacrifice their lives due to their loneliness and poor decisions, while others find romance in spite of their bad decisions. Many, such as the elderly man in Henry's Store share memories of a fading time. The One Treasure features a women who realizes how significantly her life was changed by one man. And finally, we see an elderly woman whose Last LIst brings her to a final decision. Overall, the author reminds us the value of appreciating those around us who do contribute to our decisions and the effect we have on others sometimes without even realizing it. .
