The Northern Pasta Co. are husband-and-wife duo Imogen and Matt. They are a  on a mission to reimagine pasta with British grains. Northern Pasta Co. began in 2022 when Imogen, working at a local artisan bakery, discovered the flavor and feel of British spelt and how different it made her cooking and eating. Inspired, she and Matt teamed up with a dedicated farmer and miller to create a pasta recipe that honors the grain, the land it's grown on, and the meals we share around the table. From their home in the Lake District, they now craft their pasta slowly using traditional artisan methods. Pasta for the People is their first book, a joyful celebration of what pasta can be
