Author and librarian Ashley Lokey has been writing since she was a young girl. Her debut picture book, Patsy Bea, is based on the memories of her grandmother, who grew up in the circus and was one of the youngest performers ever. She lives on a military base in Okinawa, Japan with her husband and four young sons.
