Karen Casey, PhD, a Florida resident since 1991, now temporarily resides in Minneapolis, MN. She published Each Day a New Beginning, her first book, in 1982. This daily meditation book for Women in Recovery has sold more than 3.5 million copies. The 40th Anniversary Edition of Each Day a New Beginning was released in December 2022. Closely following the original publication of Each Day, came The Promise of a New Day, in 1983, another daily meditation book for both men and women in search of serenity. It has sold more than 1.5 million copies. Following on the heels of these two books, Karen has written 28 additional books. Let Go Now: Embracing Detachment, her seminal book for codependents was published in 2010. As Karen turned 75, she wrote Living Long, Living Passionately: 75 Ways to Bring Peace to Your Life. This book was published in 2015. Karen’s 30-year devotion to A Course in Miracles resulted in a book of 52 essays to complement the course. (In 1995, she had published Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course.) 52 Ways to Live the Course in Miracles was published in 2016 and has given birth to multiple book study groups. Karen published 20 Things I Know for Sure, in 2019. She most recently wrote and published Each Day A Renewed Beginning: Meditations for a Peaceful Journey during the quarantine while being confined to her Naples, FL home for more than a year.
