"[...] el escrutinio a fondo de la obra de Juan Rulfo me dio por fin el camino que buscaba para continuar mis libros, y que por eso me era imposible escribir sobre él sin que todo esto pareciera sobre mí mismo. Ahora quiero decir también que he vuelto a releerlo completo para escribir estas breves nostalgias, y que he vuelto a ser la víctima inocente del mismo asombro de la primera vez.
