Guy Hoeks schloss sein Bachelor-Studium an der Universität Amsterdam mit dem Schwerpunkt Europäische Union ab. Er studierte auch an der Freien Universität Berlin und arbeitete in der niederländischen Botschaft in Prag. Im Jahr 2016 schloss Guy sein Studium der Europäischen Union an der Universität Leiden ab. Er schrieb seine Magisterarbeit über Pegida und arbeitet jetzt als Journalist.
