Juan Valera y Alcalá-Galiano (1824-1905), was a Spanish realist author, writer and political figure, best known for Pepita Jiménez which depicts a young seminarian's gradual of the empty vanity of his vocation, culminating in a shattering denouement. Armando Palacio Valdés (1853-1938) was a Spanish novelist and critic. His Marta y Maria portrays of the struggle between religious vocation and earthly passion, somewhat in the manner of Valera.

El autor tiene gran trayectoria en teatro, radio, cine y televisión, y con esta obra nos impulsa a alcanzar la meta soñada que nos hemos propuesto. Ha publicado anteriormente otro libro titulado "Estudio de las Artes y Técnicas del Cine", como paso previo al estudio en general de las materias que componen el arte y la técnica del cine. Además de enseñar en diferentes institutos artísticos de su país, en este libro de actuación el autor ha extraído lo imprescindible para poder ser un buen actor de cine, teatro y televisión.
