Isabel Allende nació en Perú y se crio en Chile. Novelista, feminista y filántropa, es una de las autoras más leídas del mundo, con más de ochenta millones de copias vendidas de sus libros en cuarenta y dos idiomas. Además de su trabajo como escritora, Isabel dedica gran parte de su tiempo a causas de derechos humanos.
