The study aims to verify the relationship between the competencies measured in the psychological assessments of the LABEL instrument (List of Bipolar Adjectives and Likert Scale) and the demographic characteristics of the candidates evaluated who are applying for positions in companies in Espírito Santo. The study seeks to correlate demographic characteristics and five personality traits described by the Big Five model. It analyzes 368 reports of candidates competing for a position in business organizations in Espírito Santo, selected by a recruitment and selection company. It validates the reports, extracting from them data generated by the Big Five model, found in the LABEL instrument assessments, to define the dependent variables. Using regressions, it compares demographic characteristics and personality traits. This work can contribute to verifying the possibility of previously defining trends in the competency profile of candidates in the selection process, based on demographic variables that can be obtained from curriculum analysis.
