The objective of this work consists of the preparation and characterization of polymeric blends consisting of biodegradable polymer, poly(3-hydroxybutyrate( (PHB) and synthetic polymer, low-density polyethylene (LDPE), aiming to evaluate the effect of different PHB contents on the morphology and thermal properties of LDPE blends prepared by melting.
