Gillian England taught Latin in both state and private secondary schools for many years. She is an assistant examiner for several exam boards and marks both GCSE language and literature papers.She believes that Latin should be accessible to all who have an interest and enjoys introducing the language wherever she can. This has included offering extra-curricular lessons in Latin through the York Independent State School Partnership (ISSP) as well as evening classes.
