The monograph is devoted to the philosophical and pedagogical understanding of the use of information and communication technologies in modern education. The relevance of the topic is due to the profound transformation of the educational environment under the influence of digitalization, which requires a rethinking of the goals, methods and content of education taking into account humanistic and philosophical guidelines.The first chapter deals with theoretical and methodological aspects of ICT implementation in the educational process, analyzes historical and modern approaches to teaching, pedagogical activities in the digital environment, didactic and methodological principles of forming educational routes, as well as issues of pedagogical reflection and activation of students' creative activity.The second chapter summarizes foreign experience of ICT use in education, including modern models of digital learning, standards of digital competencies (ISTE, UNESCO ICT-CFT, DigCompEdu), digital platforms and tools, methods of teaching ICT disciplines and prospects for their adaptation in the educational practice of Uzbekistan. Special attention is paid to the need for cultural and institutional adaptation of successful international practices.
