Peter D. Hershock is director of the Asian Studies Development Program and education specialist at the East-West Center in Honolulu and fellow at the Berggruen Institute’s China Center. Roger T. Ames is Humanities Chair Professor at Peking University, a Berggruen Fellow, and professor emeritus of philosophy at the University of Hawai‘i. Michael W. Myers is professor emeritus in the School of Politics, Philosophy, and Public Affairs, Washington State University. Takahiro Nakajima is associate professor of Chinese philosophy at the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia, University of Tokyo.
