The present book attempts to provide an insight about "Phyconanosynthesis". A new interdisciplinary technological approach emerged by the unification of two branches 'Phycology' and "Nanotechnology". This book is an approach to reveal the potential aspect of algae to be used for the green development of nanotechnology. The advantages of using algal biological resources for the synthesis of various nanoparticles not only prohibit the future potential risks to the environment but also helps the nanotechnology with sustainability. The efficacy of nanoparticles synthesized by algae reported till now have been discussed. This is reader-friendly introduction of the emerging subject Phyconanosynthesis and therefore will be essential reading for post graduates and research scholars who are starting their dissertation in this line.
