Shaimaa Fakhri Jasim Al-Salim es investigadora científica en el Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología, Departamento de Investigación sobre Agua y Medio Ambiente. Ha trabajado en la identificación y aislamiento de bacterias, ha participado en varios proyectos y tiene un máster en Ciencias Biológicas - Plantas Medicinales por la Facultad de Ciencias para Mujeres de la Universidad de Bagdad.
