Produktbeschreibung
When Holly and Vince Stofa began their journey to adopt a child from Thailand, they expected paperwork, patience, and perseverance. What they didn't expect was how deeply the process would test and ultimately transform them. Pineapple Promise is a true story of courage, love, and the quiet strength that comes from following your heart even when the world says "impossible." From navigating international bureaucracy to facing moments of doubt, distance, and delay, Holly's honest and often humorous storytelling reveals what it means to stay rooted in purpose while the ground shifts beneath you. Through the lens of adoption, Pineapple Promise explores something universal: the human drive to connect, to belong, and to build family, by choice and by courage. With the same small-town girl authenticity that defines her work as a former CIA operative turned high-performance coach, Holly reminds us that the most extraordinary missions begin not with a plan, but with something simple and powerful: a promise kept.
Autorenporträt
Holly Stofa is a high-performance coach who works with elite performers, executives, and athletes to help them reconnect with themselves for greater clarity, confidence, and performance. A former senior CIA operations officer and leader, Holly spent more than 24 years traveling the world and mastering the art of connection in high-stakes environments. She has also coached high-school field hockey and mental performance for almost 20 years. Rooted in the small-town authenticity and empathy she carries from Maryland's Eastern Shore, Holly brings both discipline and heart to everything she does. She earned a B.S. in Geography with a minor in Mathematics from Salisbury University--where she played NCAA Division III field hockey--and an M.S. in Geographic and Cartographic Sciences from George Mason University. Today, Holly lives in the Washington, D.C. suburbs with her family, two dogs, and a cat.
