Mauro Vinicius Dutra Girão is a biologist and Eliana Matos Ribeiro is a fisheries engineer. Both are professors and hold master's degrees in fisheries engineering, specializing in fishery resources. They work in the areas of surveillance, production, management, fish technology and processing, ecology, cellular and molecular biology, and zoology.
