Casey grew up on a farm in North Central Kansas. He spent more than two decades in the corporate world and another fifteen years teaching fifth and sixth grades. Casey has always been interested in history and published "We Shall Never Speak Of This Again," a non fiction book on Irish history. In 2024, he was Inspired to write children's books by his granddaughter and her sixth grade teacher. Casey has two children, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He wrote his first children's book series about two fourth grade time travelers. He loves the classroom and is currently a substitute teacher.
