"Ranjana Rebelo Monteiro lives with her husband and two teenage daughters in the city of Mumbai. Being her birthplace she has experienced its cosmopolitan culture to the fullest and the blessedness of its people. Besides, her travels both in India and abroad have influenced and broadened the horizon of her mind to view all situations and events from a wider perspective. Qualified as a MMS (Master's in Management Studies) from the University of Mumbai, Ranjana began her career as an Equity Research Analyst with one of the city's reputed stock brokers. From there she moved to working with an asset management company. Ranjana's commitment in caring for her children launched her into a new creative trajectory which has seen her move in its locus ever since. With two instruments in hand the paint brush and the pen, Ranjana is an artist who paints landscapes and a poet who writes wordscapes. To add to the creative passion, she is also a culinary expert who specializes in cakes and bakes. Besides teaching she is also involved in social activities. "
