Philippe Margotin Musical adviser for Le Petit Larousse (French dictionary), editor in chief for Universal Group (Rhythm'n'blues, Blues Story, Rock Story, and TV series like The Avengers, Columbo, Murder She Wrote, Miami Vice, Margotin, has devoted himself for many years to rock music and its universe. He's the co-writer of the All The Songs Collection (Black Dog/Leventhal) and the series Beatles, Dylan, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Springsteen (Octopus). This series, which has been translated into English, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Chinese (for Dylan!), exceeded 600,000 copies sold around the world. Recent books include: Open the Doors and Highway To Hell: AC/DC (Glenat); The Universe of the Beatles and The Universe of The Clash (La Martinière). He's also the creator and the editor in chief of Planet Metal Collection published by Hachette. In 2020, he wrote the radio program Get Back -- the Sound of the Beatles.
