Autorenporträt
Christine Kotowycz is an author and illustrator of children's stories. Her latest illustrations have evolved from traditional media to a blend of drawing and collage. The collage process resembles the quilting and fabric collages with which Christine has been experimenting. She has always had a love for patterned fabrics and has now discovered the beautiful Japanese Chiyogami silkscreen papers, which allow for the unique and unexpected juxtaposition of colours and patterns. Christine Kotowycz lives in Pickering, Ontario. She walks the Duffins Trail daily through the magnificent woods."The woods I walk constantly change depending on the weather, light, and season. The trail is the same and not the same each time I walk it."
