Gillian Young lives with her family and two golden retrievers in Worcestershire, UK. After working in admin and graphic art, she now enjoys writing and illustrating children's fiction. Much of her work is inspired by her dogs, who have achieved some fame around the world through their Instagram page. She regularly visits schools with her golden retriever, Poppy. While Poppy enjoys the fuss and attention, Gillian enjoys sharing her stories with the children and staff.
