Autorenporträt
Alessandro Luciano works at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (MANN). His main scientific interests relate to the transition between Antiquity and the Middle Ages, with particular regard to port structures, the cult of saints and relics, religious architecture, the evolution of the city of Naples and the processing of bone. Alessandro Luciano è nato nel 1980 e lavora al Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (MANN). Ha conseguito la laurea in Conservazione dei Beni Culturali (indirizzo archeologico), quindi il diploma di specializzazione in Archeologia e il dottorato di ricerca in Scienze dell'Antichità (curriculum storico-archeologico), sempre col massimo dei voti. Ha collaborato per anni come Cultore della materia in Archeologia Cristiana e Medievale con l'Università Suor Orsola Benincasa di Napoli, coordinando sul campo le ricerche archeologiche presso l'abbazia di San Vincenzo al Volturno e co-editando il volume sul suo noto approdo fluviale (2015).
