Douglas Owen is a writer of fantasy, urban fantasy, science fiction, horror, and crime fiction . His short stories have been published by Cedar Cave Books and Mash Stories.He started writing at a young age, but only started to take his writing seriously in his late 40's. In 2013 he opened DAOwen Publications. But he still finds time to write.Doug wrote an article series called A Written View for Self Publisher Magazine, Indyfest Magazine, and Indtale Magazine. He also spent two years as a circulation manager for Indyfest and Self Publisher Magazines. also is the Circulation Manager of IndyFest Magazine.He is also an active member of The Writers' Community of York Region, and spent several years as their Special Events Coordinator.
