Diplômé en langue portugaise de l'université catholique pontificale de São Paulo. Étudiante en master à l'université de São Paulo, elle enseigne le portugais dans le système scolaire public de l'État de São Paulo. Elle fait des recherches sur la littérature africaine de langue portugaise, la littérature pour enfants et adolescents et les relations entre la littérature et les autres arts.
