Fez o seu doutoramento no Centro de Estudos de Desenvolvimento da JNU sobre o tema da pobreza e privação na velhice. Concluiu a bolsa de pós-doutoramento do IGIDR, Mumbai. Tem 12 artigos em revistas, 4 documentos de trabalho e 5 capítulos em livros editados.
