Doutorada em Gestão Pública e Política Social pela Universidade de Baja California. É professora a tempo inteiro na Universidade Autónoma de Tamaulipas, e tem um Perfil Desejável desde 2013 até à data. Atualmente, é coordenadora da Licenciatura em Sociologia na Unidade Académica Multidisciplinar de Ciências, Educação e Humanidades.
