James Petras is Professor Emeritus in Sociology at Binghamton University. He is author of more than 60 books on the global and regional dynamics of US imperialism and capitalism, and the class struggle associated with these dynamics. Henry Veltmeyer is Research Professor in Development Studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas in Mexico. He has authored and edited more than 40 books on political economy, social movements, development theory and dynamics of social change in Latin America.
