Have you ever expended yourself for God and for others, only to find that the results were not what you expected? Have you ever been tempted to lose heart? PRACTICAL EXPOSITION SERIES Have you ever wondered if sacrifice and dying to self are really worth it? In his letter of Second Corinthians the apostle Paul opens wide his heart to his Corinthian brothers and sisters and to us. He exposes his pain, shares his personal moments of despair, and allows us to enter the world of his own temptations. All of this vulnerability has a purpose: to show us how God works through tough times, how he uses our weaknesses, and how in Christ there is always hope to be prepared for the next challenge.
