This book is the story of crisis emanating from wanton and irrational manifestation of interest in human relations. There is a complex and inter woven net of relations that exist between community leaders and their people. Leaders represent the people at the head of the community. Here we see the causes of conflict in another dimension. Land is at the centre of many other problems that the people may encounter. We have established the premise that problems of land and redistribution breed conflicts and it is a rampant phenomenon round the world that deters cordial relations and coexistence within communities. Again we see how land is a serious issue in power politics and using the Bafut people as a case study, we can reshape the mind-set of communities and their leaders towards issues of land. This (we believe) can serve as a possible panacea to collusions and strain relation.
