Rosanne DiZazzo-Miller completed her PhD at Nova Southeastern University in 2015, her DrOT in 2003, and her MOT from Eastern Michigan University in 2000. She is an assistant professor in the Occupational Therapy Program at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to her career in academia, she worked in clinical practice in traumatic brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, which encompassed clients from pediatrics through late adulthood. She is currently involved in community traumatic brain injury rehabilitation as an occupational therapist and serves as a professional educator accreditation reviewer for the Distance Education and Training Council. Research interests include family caregiver training for people with dementia, and various modes of instructional learning delivery, and outcomes research. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has presented at the state, national, and international level. Dr. DiZazzo-Miller provides national board exam review sessions throughout the country, has presented nationally and internationally, and is published in textbooks and peer-reviewed journals.
