Brian Johnston was born in 1956, the youngest of two siblings with an older sister, Helen, his parents, William and Helen, lived a long and happy life together. William was an engineer, Helen worked part time in a local post office. Brian, a university graduate, has worked in various fields and possesses many skills. Brian lives in Scotland with his girlfriend Nanda, he has three sons and four grandchildren and is a family man who is also predominantly a people person, with a wide and varied circle of friends and work colleagues. Brian enjoys working, then taking holidays in the sun and experiencing different cultures throughout the world.
