Paul A. Schreck is a new author but a life-long storyteller. The idea for Prickly Kisses was planted 40 years ago when he and his wife, Karen, were new teachers. Every morning, they would entrust their new baby to the wonderful care of K. Rudy. Before leaving, he would plant a mustachioed kiss on their infant's cheek, and Mrs. Rudy would exclaim with great delight, "Prickly kisses! Prickly kisses!" A few months later, in a continuing education class for teachers about children's literature, he was tasked with writing a children's story, and Prickly Kisses was born.Paul holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Divinity. When not writing, he can be found camping, bird watching, and, of course, reading.
