Florian Grotz is Professor of Political science at Helmut Schmidt University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg, Germany. He previously taught at the Universities of Heidelberg, Berlin (FU), Würzburg, and Lüneburg. He has published widely on the performance of democratic institutions in Germany and Europe and has been involved as an expert in electoral reforms in several countries. Jan Berz is a postdoctoral researcher at Goethe University Frankfurt. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and as a research fellow at Leuphana University Lüneburg (Germany). He holds a doctorate in political science from Leuphana University Lüneburg. Corinna Kroeber is Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics at the University of Greifswald. Previously, she worked at Leuphana University Lüneburg (Germany) and the University of Salzburg (Austria). She also completed her PhD at the University of Salzburg. Moreover, she has held positions as a visiting scholar at the European University Institute in Florence (Italy), the American University in Washington, DC, (USA), and McGill University in Montreal (Canada). Marko Kukec is a postdoctoral researcher at Helmut Schmidt University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg, Germany. He holds a doctorate in political science from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. His research focuses on legislative politics, political parties, and politics in Central and Eastern Europe.
