Derrick I. Temple, Sr. is the Founding Pastor of Urban Christian Church of Oxnard, CA. He is also the Founder and Managing Member of Urban Publishing House, LLC (a newly formed publishing company in 2021). He studied at Bishop College of Dallas, TX, received his B. A. Degree at the Criswell College of Dallas, TX, continued studies at The Master's Seminary of New Haul, California, Talbot Theological Seminary of LaMirada, CA, Gateway Seminary of Ontario, CA, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary of Wake Forest, North Carolina, and Channel Islands Seminary of El Rio, CA. Along with his graduate degrees, Derrick also has a MBA Degree from the University of Phoenix of Woodland Hills, CA. Derrick is the husband of Mellanie Temple, father of Derrick and Alonzo Temple, and the loving grandfather of Aniyah Temple-Droughn and Princeton Love-Patrick Temple. He is Author of The Pastor and His Anatomy (Volumes I & II) and is now writing a new book titled, The Apostasy of America, to be released later this year.
