Mohammad Shorif Uddin earned his Ph.D. from Kyoto Institute of Technology in 2002, M.Tech. Ed. from Shiga University in 1999, B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from BUET in 1991, and an MBA from Jahangirnagar University in 2013. He began his academic career in 1991 and is currently a Professor in the CSE Department at Jahangirnagar University, where he has also served as Chairman and ICT Cell in-charge.He has conducted postdoctoral research at renowned institutions, including the Bioinformatics Institute (Singapore), Toyota Technological Institute (Japan), Kyoto Institute of Technology (Japan), Chiba University (Japan), Bonn University (Germany), and the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (China). His research interests include computer vision, image security, AI, and machine learning, with over 200 publications in prestigious journals like Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, and ACM. Uddin has delivered keynote speeches at international conferences and held leadership roles such as General Chair and TPC Chair. He received the Best Paper Award at ICIEV2013 (Bangladesh) and the Best Presenter Award at ICCVG 2004 (Poland). In 2004, he gained global recognition from CNN, BBC, Reuters, and The New York Times for inventing the ‘Electronic Eye,’ a blind navigational aid.He has mentored ACM ICPC World Finals Teams (2015, 2017) and supervised numerous Ph.D. and master’s theses. Recently, he was appointed Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh. He is a Fellow of IEB and BCS, a Senior Member of IEEE, and an Associate Editor of IEEE Access. Dharm Singh Jat is a Professor of Computer Science and UNESCO Chairholder on Secure High-Performance Computing at Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). He holds an M.E. in CSE from Thapar University and a Ph.D. from M.L. Sukhadia University, Udaipur. From 1990 to 2014, he served as an Assistant Professor at MPUAT, Udaipur, India.With over 33 years in academia and industry, Prof. Jat has led numerous innovative projects and supervised 9 Ph.D. and 27 master's students. Jat is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (I), Computer Society of India, and a Senior Member of IEEE. He has significantly contributed to multimedia communication and was the first Chairman of the Special Interest Group on Wireless Networks (SIG-WNs) for the Computer Society of India. Thittaporn Ganokratanaa is an expert in multimedia and signal processing. She earned her B.Sc. in Media Technology from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), followed by an M.Eng. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University.Currently, she is a lecturer in Applied Computer Science at KMUTT. Her research focuses on image and video analysis, real-time hand gesture recognition, and anomaly detection in surveillance videos. She is also exploring deep learning applications in elder care and healthcare technology. Dr. Ganokratanaa’s work bridges theoretical research with practical applications, advancing multimedia and healthcare solutions. Gaurav Kumawat is an Assistant Professor at Manipal University Jaipur, specializing in machine learning applications in medical and environmental domains. He earned his Ph.D. from Manipal University Jaipur, M.Tech. from Pacific University, and AMIE from the Institution of Engineers, India.With over 18 years of academic and industry experience, he previously led the CSE Department at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur. He has published extensively in reputed journals and is actively involved in professional organizations like ACM, Computer Society of India, and The Institution of Engineers (I). His contributions underscore his commitment to advancing computer science research and education.
