Autorenporträt
Dr. Prasanta K. Sahu is Associate Professor of transportation systems in the Department of Civil Engineering at BITS Pilani-Hyderabad Campus and holds a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay.  His teaching and research interests are in the general area of transportation systems with emphasis on transportation planning, freight transportation modelling and operations, and public transit.  He has published more than 90 refereed journal papers and 70 conference papers. He serves in various editorial boards (e.g., Editorial Board Member of Transportation in Developing Economies, Handling Editor of Transportation Research Record, and Guest Editor of Research in Transportation Economics, etc.) and is a member of various national and international societies. Dr. Nikhil Saboo is Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. His area of interest is pavement material characterization, analysis, design, and evaluation. Dr. Saboo has published more than 50 technical papers in journals of repute. He is a recipient of many prestigious awards. Dr. Bandhan Bandhu Majumdar is Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at BITS Pilani-Hyderabad Campus and holds a Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur. His teaching and research interests are transportation planning, operations, electric mobility, road safety, and public transit.  He has authored more than 40 refereed journal papers, 30 conference papers, and 7 book chapters. Dr. Majumdar is Associate Editor in KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering and Member of various national and international societies. Dr. Agnivesh Pani is Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi. He completed his Ph.D. and M.Tech. from BITS Pilani, focusing on freight transportation planning. His areas of expertise include transportation planning, freight transportation, travel demand modelling, city logistics, and transit operations. Dr. Agnivesh has published more than 40 technical papers in journals of repute. Dr. Pani is Handling Editor of Transportation Research Record.
