Autorenporträt
Arjan J. van Weele held the NEVI-Chair in Purchasing and Supply Management at Eindhoven University of Technology until his retirement in 2019. He has published widely and acted as a consultant on procurement strategy and governance to many large companies including ABB, Heineken and Skanska. He holds an MBA degree from Interfaculteit Bedrijfskunde at Delft and a PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology. He worked for many years in education and research programmes at Eindhoven University of Technology and Nyenrode University. He was also a visiting professor to several management development programmes across Europe. Arjan has published 20 books and over 200 articles in a range of academic journals including the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and European Management Journal. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management and the Advisory Board of the Journal of Supply Chain Management. He has received numerous awards for h
