The book is useful introductory text for production of growth promoters. Rhizospheric soil can provide a rich source of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria and cyanobacteria that have the ability to produce a significant amount of plant growth promoter substances. The demand of PGPR biofertilizers has been increasing day by day with increase in the importance of organic agriculture with minimum inputs of chemicals.
