D. L. Sproule is the name under which the author publishes his horror fiction. Dale has published over 50 stories and poems in markets including Ellery Queen's, Pulphouse #1, and Wild Things Live Here - The Best of Northern Frights. He's had several Pushcart Prize nominations. He was publisher and editor of TransVersions in the 90s and since then has published two story collections as well as the novels, Remapping the Human Template and Crossing the Carnivorous Forest (upcoming).

He lives in Toronto, Ontario with his partner in life and sculpting, Laura Belford. And lives much too far away from his children Lauren and Sheena and his granddaughter, Luna who all live on Canada's west coast.
