Autorenporträt
Jochen Gartz, 64 ans, vit à Leipzig, en Allemagne. Il a étudié la chimie organique de 1972 à 1980 et a ensuite travaillé dans l'industrie pharmaceutique. Depuis 1983, il étudie les champignons psychoactifs en Allemagne et, après 1986, en Europe, en Afrique du Sud, aux États-Unis et au Canada. Ces études approfondies ont permis de découvrir de nouvelles espèces dans ces régions.
