Quality of life (QoL) among elderly becomes a matter of concern because of its multi-dimensional concept, and highly subjective. QoL measured on four major domains namely physical, psychological, social, and environmental domain with its distinct features at different economic regions, certain socio-cultural areas. Hanoi is one of the biggest cities where have the fastest rate of economic development and crowded population. QoL of elderly in Hanoi after retirement often affected by a wide range of factors such as home economics, spouses relationship, and children, society, physical health, mental health, medical system... Nevertheless, lack of studies conducted to analyze factors associated with QoL among elderly living in urban areas in Hanoi.
