Autorenporträt
David Caplan is a poet, scholar, and literary critic. He previously published two poetry collections, In the World He Created According to His Will (University of Georgia Press) and Into My Garden (Ben Yehuda Press), as well as several monographs and critical studies. His honors include the Virginia Quarterly Review's Emily Clark Balch Prize for Poetry, an Individual Excellence Award in Criticism from the Ohio Arts Council, and two Fulbright Lectureships in American Literature. He serves as the Daisy Deane Frensley Chair in English Literature at Southern Methodist University.
