Nanette J. Davis received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Michigan State University, completed a post-doctorate degree at Stanford University, and has three decades of experience as an author, educator, advocate and researcher. Her scholarly work includes eight books and more than 100 articles, encyclopedia contributions, research reports, book chapters and reviews. Nanette was granted the prestigious Fulbright Senior Scholar Award, among other accolades, and taught at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.
