Camilla Garofano was born in Empoli, Florence, in 1985, and until 2010 was convinced that she wanted to design theatre costumes for the rest of her life. On turning 26, however, she decided to fulfill her childhood dream, and started to draw little creatures and imaginary worlds. Now she works with digital media and especially loves drawing for children because they always understand everything, even things that seem absurd to adults. Samantha Hilton is an experienced children's writer and editor. She has three children and is based in London.
