Dr. J. Brema ist Professorin an der Fakultät für Bauingenieurwesen der Karunya University in Indien. Zuvor war sie drei Jahre lang Rektorin des Nehru Institute of Technology in Indien. Zu ihren Forschungsschwerpunkten gehören die Modellierung von Wasserressourcen, Dürrevorhersagen, Studien zur Bodenerosion und Studien zum Klimawandel.
