Kristen West can't remember a time that words weren't a part of her life. As a girl, she remembers the library being more fun than theplayground. Getting to order books in school (anyone else remember those good old Scholastic Book Orders?) was better than free candy.Words were so influential to her during her formative years that by the time she was in high school, speaking competitively on the school'sForensic Team felt natural. College was filled with as many writing, speaking, and literature classes as she could pack into her schedule.After receiving her degree in journalism she went on to write feature stories for a hometown newspaper. Coming to Christ in her late teenssaw her natural love for words unite with a divine passion to encourage, inspire, and challenge others in their personal faith journeys. A lover of true stories, her three devotion-style books weave some of her own personal stories of how God has shown up in her life with Biblical principles and practical applications.
