Becky Siegel Spratford co-authored the first edition of The Horror Readers' Advisory: The Librarian's Guide to Vampires, Killer Tomatoes, and Haunted Houses. She has been a Readers' Advisor since 2000 at the Berwyn (Illinois) Public Library. She graduated with honours from Dominican University's Graduate School of Library and Information Science in January of 2001. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the same school, teaching Readers' Advisory Service two semesters a year. Spratford also contributes Read Alike articles for NoveList, is a member of the Adult Reading Roundtable Steering Committee, and is the author of the blog RA for All: Horror.
