Alistair Donaghey is a seasoned construction leader and chartered environmentalist with over four decades of hands-on experience. Starting as a bricklaying apprentice, he rose through site and project roles to become Regional Head of Safety, Health & Environment at Willmott Dixon since 2014. Alistair is a passionate advocate for social value. In 2017, he founded "Ready for the Gate", a CITB approved programme offering prisoners accredited health, safety and CSCS training He followed this with establishing a dry lining training academy at HMP Elmley in 2019, helping inmates build real job skills and move into employment on release.A firm believer in second chances, Alistair champions "the forgotten workforce" of people with convictions. He's currently working to scale his model across the UK, combining environmental stewardship with meaningful rehabilitation.
