The moment the road becomes your own, and the heart remembers its way . . . Finding herself in perplexing experiences at every turn, Margaret Harrell began navigating multidimensional waters and reports back faithfully-in poems. Assisted by many guides along the way, she relates how to do this yourself. The result is a stunned exploration of where she finds herself at any given moment. Begun in 1986 during an initiation with a cosmic guide, these poems were put aside, then picked back up in 1996 in Belgium, where she lived through the 1990s, interacting with sprit committees in her writing daily. But returning to the USA in 2001, she had no thoughts of publishing what to her was an outrageous book, impossible to understand without having similar experiences yourself. She doesn't think that way now. Many people are consciously engaging multidimensionally, transpersonally-as well as in 3-D. It turned out the Universe Time finally had an opening for this book. Foremost in topics is self-discovery, or path creation. Also, it is a book of poems about soul-journeying inside the Magdalene energy..
Three-time MacDowell fellow Margaret A Harrell-author, editor, experimental cloud photographer-has exhibited her photography of images hiding in clouds in Europe and the USA. Margaret is also, notably, an advanced meditation teacher in the DaBen/Orin light body/luminous body school. Her books include the coffee table collectible The Hell's Angels Letters in conjunction with Ron Whitehead (Norfolk Press), the Keep This Quiet! I-IV memoir series, Particle Pinata Poems, Cloud Conversations, and a host of others. But in particular in 2025 she brought out for the first time in the United States Love in Transition: Voyage of Ulysses-Letters to Penelope, initially [published in Romania in 1996.Harrell copy-edited/assistant-edited Hunter S. Thompson's first book, Hell's Angels. For some years now, since she returned to the United States to live, she has been a mentor to those wanting to maximize their potential. Before that, she lived in Morocco, Switzerland (studying at the C. G. Jung Institute), and Belgium. Not lax in academical credentials, she has an MA in contemporary British and American Literature from Columbia University and a BA in history (with Honors and Distinction) from Duke. A sought-after speaker, Harrell is currently in charge of some of the panels for the 2026 GonzoFest (honoring Hunter S. Thompson) in New York City.
